Lodging operators in the Hocking Hills could give lessons on hospitality. Many of the owners and managers of the inns, cabins, cottages, bed & breakfasts and camping facilities in the region have a very good fix on what makes their guests feel welcome, comfortable and safe.
A lack of local regulations incited a need for the Hocking County Hospitality Enterprise (HCHE) to take a look at promoting standards for quality regarding the safety and sanitation of the facilities represented by their organization.
Each member must pass a yearly inspection to be able to use the HCHE seal of approval. Look for the "Blue Ribbon" seal of approval on all literature for assurance of safety, cleanliness and truth in advertising.
